Deborah Davis

Deborah Davis is the owner/manager of DDComply LLC, which offers financial compliance and operational risk advisory services and expert testimony. Deborah joined the Raymond James Bank board in 2013 and currently serves as chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. She joined the Raymond James Trust Board of Directors in 2016 and chairs its audit committee.

Prior to moving to Florida in 2012, Deborah served in several legal, compliance, operational risk and wealth management roles. She served as senior group leader in the Fleet Financial legal department until she accepted the role of chief compliance officer (CCO) in 1998. In 2001 she moved into the business, accepting the role of Maine market leader for FleetBoston and served in this capacity until 2003 when Bank of America acquired FleetBoston. She then accepted the role of chief compliance executive, consumer, small business and technology and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2006 Bank of America moved Deborah and her family to Boston when she accepted the role of northeast division operations executive. A year later Deborah accepted the role of CCO of Wachovia Corporation and returned to Charlotte until Wachovia was acquired by Wells Fargo in 2008, at which point she accepted the role of CCO for Wells Fargo. She served in that capacity until 2009 when she joined TD Bank Group in Toronto, Canada, as CCO until 2012.

Deborah attended Union University’s Albany Law School, and upon graduation in 1980 was inducted as an honoree into the Justinian Society. She was admitted to the bar of the Third Judicial District in the state of New York in 1981. She served on the board of The Parsons Child and Family Center in Albany, New York, for 10 years, seven as president, and later on the board of Sweetser’s Child Center in Portland, Maine. She also served on the board of the University of New England from 2001 to 2003.
