Rollin Ellis

Rollin made the move to Raymond James in 2016 as an AdvisorChoice® consultant. Since then, he’s applied his extensive experience in the financial services industry to recruit established advisors to top independent broker/dealers with the firm. Networking is his strong suit. “I’m committed to building genuine connections with people at all levels and cultivating relationships founded on mutual trust,” he says.

In addition, Rollin works with advisors seeking greater control over their professional and personal lives – all while staying sharply focused on helping develop and grow their own independent practices.

Before joining Raymond James, Rollin worked as a financial advisor and recruiter for a hybrid RIA. He further refined his business development skills through recruiting roles with LPL Financial in the central California, Las Vegas and Hawaii territories. Additionally, he holds his Series 6, 7, 65 and 63 securities licenses.

Rollin grew up outside of Philadelphia and moved to San Diego to attend the University of San Diego, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He is currently involved with the Little Italy Association of San Diego and resides in Kirkland, Washington, with his wife and son. Away from work, he enjoys Orangetheory Fitness, snowboarding and other outdoor activities that allow him to make the most of life in the Pacific Northwest.
