Parker Colvin

Managing Director, Municipal Underwriter

Parker joined Raymond James as the firm’s Florida, Illinois and California underwriter. Most recently, Parker managed the California/Arizona underwriting desk for Stifel where he priced all of Stifel’s California deals from the time of its acquisition of Stone & Youngberg in 2011 up until he joined Raymond James in 2013. Prior to that, he served as head of trading and underwriting for Stone & Youngberg, again, where he priced all of their California deals from 2005 up until it was acquired by Stifel. Parker has priced more California municipal issues over the past ten years than anyone in the industry. Born and raised on the Iron Range of Minnesota, Parker earned a degree in mathematics and played ice hockey at Wheaton College (IL). Parker is a past president of the San Francisco Municipal Bond Club and was previously Vice President of the Moraga (CA) School District Governing Board.
