Jay Hernandez

Jay Hernandez joined Raymond James in 2020 as managing director and head of the Industrial Technology practice for the Diversified Industrials group. Mr. Hernandez has over 16 years of experience working with global corporate and private equity clients in industrial technology sectors, including test and measurement, robotics and process automation, flow and process control, and industrial digitalization. He has advised public and private companies on a broad spectrum of corporate finance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, and other strategic advisory analyses. Before joining Raymond James, Mr. Hernandez was a managing director at Moelis & Company, where he led the firm’s global industrial technology practice. Prior to Moelis & Company, Mr. Hernandez began his investment banking career at Harris Williams & Company, most recently serving as managing director, where he co-founded and led the firm’s industrial technology group. Mr. Hernandez holds a B.S. in accounting and finance from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
