Nick joined Raymond James in April 2003. Previously, he served as a vice president in the public finance department at Kirkpatrick Pettis. Nick’s municipal finance practice is concentrated in non-profit and general municipal government finance for both individual issuers and statewide lending programs. He further specializes in government enhanced or secured financings through the USDA and has been involved in the underwriting or placement of over $8 billion of debt for over 1,300 borrowers utilizing various USDA programs (Community Facilities Program, Water and Environmental Program, Business & Industry Program, and 9003 Biorefinery Guarantee Loan Program). Nick has served as public finance banker to the Kentucky Rural Water Finance Corporation, Pikeville Medical Center, Olivet Nazarene University, Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation, Appalachian Regional Healthcare System and Minnesota Rural Water Finance Authority. His services to these issuers have included debt structuring, program management, asset and liability management, rating agency presentations, complex cashflow scenarios, bond proceeds investment structuring, and ongoing financial compliance.  

Nick received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Louisville and is a Registered Municipal Securities Representative having the Series 7 (General Securities Representative license), Series 53 (Municipal Securities Principal), Series 50 (Municipal Advisor Representative) and Series 63 (Uniform Securities license).
