Dr. Allan Markley

Richard Allan Markley, Ed.D., joined Raymond James in 2022 as a director in the firm’s Public Finance/Debt Investment Banking division. With 27 years of experience in public education, Dr. Markley serves as an education specialist providing professional counsel to K-12 school districts throughout Missouri and Kansas while also supporting the firm’s general governmental practice. Prior to Raymond James, he served as superintendent of schools for Raytown C-2, Sparta R-III and Logan-Rogersville R-VIII school districts. Dr. Markley received his bachelor’s degree in education from Missouri State University, his master’s degree in secondary education from the University of Central Missouri, and his doctorate in education leadership from Saint Louis University. He currently holds the Series 50, 52 and 63 professional licenses and has passed the Securities Industry Essentials exam.
