John Tholen

Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, John moved to Florida in 1996 to be stationed at MacDill Air Force Base while serving as a Weather Specialist in the United States Air Force. In April 2000, John began his career with Raymond James within the Technology Training department as a Technology Trainer.

Throughout his career, John has held many positions, including Senior Business Systems Specialist, IT product manager, Sales Development Manager for the Mid-States Division of Raymond James & Associates. Most recently, he served 7 years as the Assistant Regional Director in the northeast region of our Independent Contractor Division. In his current role as a Business Development Consultant, John recruits advisors within the states of NC, SC, TN and KY. John holds the Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses. John has also achieved the Wealth Management Specialist designation and is a Registered Corporate Coach.

John resides in Clearwater, Florida with his wife Stephanie and their cat Wolf. He enjoys golfing, tennis, fishing, photography, travel and attending major sporting events.
