Dr. Mike Reik

Michael Reik, Ed.D., joined Raymond James in 2022 as a director in the firm’s Public Finance/Debt Investment Banking division, following a 25-year career in public education. Dr. Reik serves as an education specialist providing professional counsel to K-12 school districts throughout Missouri and Kansas while also supporting the firm’s general governmental practice. Prior to Raymond James, he served Missouri public schools as an assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent, and most recently, as the superintendent of schools for Platte County R-3. Dr. Reik received his Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and political science from Bradley University, his Master of Science degree in educational leadership from Northwest Missouri State University, and his Doctor of Education degree in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Kansas. He currently holds the Series 50, 52 and 63 professional licenses and has passed the Securities Industry Essentials exam.
