Matthew Mehltretter

For Matt, being a division director is about delivering next-level service to financial institutions, their advisors and staff. He and his team serve as problem solvers, consultants, accountability partners and technicians to the people they serve, keeping the lines of communication open. With over two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Matt has fine-tuned a consultative process designed to help clients reach their potential by addressing critical business issues. However, his true strength is his ability to build strong relationships with both clients and members of his team.

Matt spent eight years as a financial advisor and managing partner in an independent firm focused on financial planning before joining the Raymond James Financial Institutions Division in 2007. His previous roles in the organization include assistant division director and regional manager for the West Division. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he holds Series 6, 7, 24 and 66 securities licenses and has earned the Registered Corporate Coach (RCC™) designation.

He lives in St. Petersburg with his wife, Carrie, and their four children: Elle, Spencer, Duncan and Lennox. In his free time he enjoys watching his children’s soccer games, running half marathons with his wife, and reading books.
