Reed Welch leads the firm’s sector coverage for companies providing software and software-enabled solutions to various healthcare constituents, such as providers (integrated health systems, hospitals, clinics/practices, and post-acute/home health) and payors (health plans and employers). Reed joined Raymond James in 2009 as part of the firm's acquisition of Lane, Berry & Co., where he led healthcare software coverage since 2003, totaling over two decades of dedicated coverage to the sector. Prior to Lane, Berry & Co., Reed spent about a decade as a generalist investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Reed’s transaction experience includes sell-side and buy-side M&A, as well as private and public financing transactions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in international business from Ohio Wesleyan University.
