I hate to say this about my former home, but it's kind of a dump. Make sure you lock your cars! If I were you guys, I'd skip the convention altogether and plan a trip to Columbia. Heck, I'll meet you there. They just built this massive new structure at the J-school, which, if you are to believe the mailer I received yesterday, was erected by the Gods of Journalism to bring light and hope unto the Earth.
