Trekkies

I’d not normally post about something so inane, but I was astounded by the response to a Craigslist posting. We’re cleaning up our office and I found a box of old Star Trek the Next Generation episodes I’d recorded when I was a teenager (yes, I am guilty of teenage nerddom). We still have a VCR but the last time I used it was to transfer some old home movies to digital format. Before tossing them, I thought I’d assuage my guilt by posting them under the free section of Craigslist. To my amazement, I had not one, not two, but nine responses two hours later! Guess there are plenty of “Trekkies” out there who don’t want to “beam down” the DVDs (sorry, but this post needed another cheeky ST reference).
