Raymond James recognized for innovative technology for seventh consecutive year

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James was recognized with the Technology Innovation Award for the seventh consecutive year by the Bank Insurance & Securities Association (BISA). This year, the firm was recognized for its advisor Portfolio Management tool, a custom application that empowers advisors to construct and analyze their custom investment portfolios in a streamlined workspace.

BISA’s Technology Innovation Award recognizes firms that are leading the advancement of the financial service industry’s products, services and platforms through innovative technology. This award highlights companies for their commitment to advancements in technology-based solutions for the industry.

“It is an honor to be recognized by BISA for excellence in technology innovation for the seventh year in a row,” said Tim Killgoar, senior vice president and head of Raymond James Financial Institutions Division. “Raymond James is committed to developing sophisticated technology to equip advisors with the tools they need to provide superior service to their clients. We are proud to continue delivering innovative, best-in-class technology applications like Portfolio Management to affiliated bank and credit union advisors.”

The Portfolio Management application is integrated into Raymond James’ Wealth Management suite of tools, enabling advisors to create a flexible and repeatable approach to meeting their clients’ investment needs. The tool provides the ability to construct asset class and product allocations, create off-the-cuff allocations using a mixture of asset classes, products and benchmarks, run in-depth analytics – both historical and forward-looking – for existing relationships, accounts or new investment portfolios, and conduct current account analyses. The Portfolio Management application provides advisors with features to help streamline their investment management process and make decisions easily.

“Raymond James is dedicated to providing sophisticated, fully integrated, flexible technology to help advisors manage their businesses and provide optimal service to clients,” said Vin Campagnoli, chief information officer at Raymond James. “Portfolio Management, like all the technology developed at Raymond James, was built from the mind of advisors and reflects advisors’ specific needs. We are proud to be a firm that has built an integrated suite of tools to take advisors through the wealth management process.”

BISA has consistently recognized Raymond James for its commitment to technology-based solutions and advancements. In years prior, Raymond James has won the award for the following applications and tools:

  • Product Catalog, which allows advisors to analyze and compare financial product data from 21 sources in a centralized location
  • Advisor Mobile, a sophisticated mobile app that allows advisors to access and manage client account information on the go – anywhere, anytime
  • Client Reporting, which brings together client data in easy-to-read, customized reports for personalized client review experiences
  • Account Aggregation, a tool that enables clients to connect external account information
  • Client Center, a highly integrated system designed to help advisors manage client relationships
