Raymond James welcomes seasoned Massachusetts advisor managing $160 million in client assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor Ross P. Grant, AAMSTM, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm's employee advisor channel – in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, according to Kelly Anderson, Northeast regional director for RJA.

Arriving from Wells Fargo, Grant managed approximately $160 million in client assets and is joined by senior client service associate Renee Cooper. The group operates as Ross P. Grant of Raymond James and provides personalized financial guidance for clients as part of RJA's Southern New England Complex, led by complex manager Stephen Pryor.

"After a great deal of deliberation, we felt the atmosphere and culture of Raymond James best suited our clients," said Grant. "It is also a matter of returning to my roots working within an independent, boutique environment without sacrificing the extensive support and resources of a large firm. Renee felt the same way after her 35-year career with A.G. Edwards. We're looking forward to this exciting next chapter."

A financial services industry veteran, Grant brings over 45 years of experience as senior vice president, investments. He recently served as an advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors, with a 17-year tenure at the company. Before that, Grant held management positions at A.G. Edwards & Sons and Advest, Inc. He attended Northeastern University and maintains the Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM professional designation.
