Sam Shupe, senior vice president, director of feasibility, is responsible for determining the feasibility of property acquisitions made by Raymond James Affordable Housing Investments. Sam is a member of the RJAHI investment committee. Prior to joining Raymond James in 1995, he worked with NationsBank for more than eight years. He was involved with the underwriting and analysis of commercial real estate loans, as well as recommendations regarding restructuring of troubled loans and asset disposal decisions. He also directed the production of market research reports and performed numerous property valuations and feasibility studies. Previously, he was a real estate lender and also was directly involved in the management of loans on troubled properties. Sam graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree with honors.
