Whether you’re a finance major curious about deals and acquisitions in investment banking, a computer engineering major interested in how the latest technology is helping clients manage their wealth, or a management major eager to impact company performance through operations and infrastructure support, we have a program to help you plan out your future.

Participation in any of our exploration programs will give you a jumpstart to your career search through industry exposure, engaging directly with experienced professionals and sessions designed to build your career skills. Most importantly, successful participants receive recruiting coaching and early access to our highly competitive summer internship program. And of course, our best interns receive full-time offers to join Raymond James after graduation.

Our programs

Investment Banking Insights (November 2023 – January 2024)

This hands-on program gives you an overview to the exciting world of investment banking and how our analysts and associates help corporations raise capital, issue shares of stock in an IPO, provide financial consulting services and negotiate a merger or acquisition. You’ll participate in multiple virtual learning sessions and a two-day, in-person program in New York City that will get you ready for the investment banking recruiting and SuperDay process.

Diversity Fast Track (May and July 2024)

We believe good people know the importance of culture and diversity and how it helps you create personal and professional value. This program gives underrepresented students access to resources and empowers you to leverage your diversity to help customers build successful futures, and in turn, help build your successful career. Spending three days at our global headquarters will increase your knowledge, experience and confidence so you can take every advantage of what a great career will do for your future.

Sophomore Showcase (various days throughout 2024)

Open to all sophomores, this one-day program gives top students the flexibility to drop in and get a view of what it means to be an associate at Raymond James. Sophomore showcase events are hosted in multiple locations so that if you are in any of our locations during winter, spring or summer break, you can come experience life at Raymond James and learn about our core business units – Wealth Management, Capital Markets and Corporate Infrastructure. You’ll also gain valuable insight into our recruiting timelines so that you can get a leg up in the process.

Who is eligible?

We are looking for ambitious university sophomore students, who represent different perspectives and backgrounds, and are interested in growing and working with great teams to help our clients and customers achieve personal and financial success. You should be enrolled in an accredited university and be projected to graduate between December 2025 and June 2026, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
